Wakas Organic Demonstration Farm

Wakas Organic Demonstration Farm is a bountiful, highly productive, mixed working farm located in Muranga County, Kenya. Founded in 2018 and incorporated in 2025, the farm has been practicing and showcasing sustainable farming methods that exclude the use of synthetic chemicals or genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

Wakas Farm serves as a living classroom where farmers, students, and community members learn about organic techniques, including crop rotation, natural pest control, and soil health management. By growing a variety of crops and raising livestock organically, the farm demonstrates practical ways to improve environmental health, boost biodiversity, and produce safe and nutritious food.

Through workshops, hands-on training, and research, the farm promotes awareness and adoption of organic farming practices that support long-term sustainability and healthier ecosystems.
